Christmas Is Almost Here

How's everyone's holiday projects going? I've been plugging away at mine.

Knitting some dish cloths and making use of my Christmas Lily Bloom purse.

Found this yarn and pom pom as a hat making kit on clearance.

Our city did this lights festival in our main park that opened last weekend then
we got a good dumping of snow this past week.

And my kitties.

This guy may not make it much longer.  He's has hyper thyroid and
is so skinny like my last cat that passed.

If I do not post again before Christmas, I wish everyone who visits my blog
and wonderful relaxing holiday with your families.

Merry Christmas!

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your families.  I'm sure most are glad it's over.
However, for us crafters we're planning on what projects to carry over for next year.  I had a
nice quiet day with my honey.  Slept in late, relaxed, made dinner, ate, drank and watched movies. No gifts were exchanges as we had gotten the two main things a month ago, new TV and my new phone.  I am happy with that.  We have jobs, good health and had a great meal. What more can you ask for?  What did you do?

I sported my holiday nails I got from So Gloss Etsy store a bit ago.
They are easy to put on using your hair dryer to heat up, trim and press. They last a week or more depending on how hard you work your hands ;)

I finished my honey's knitted cap tonight.  It's tight fitting but he has a shaved head
so it's fine.  Next time I'll make one bigger.

I've always loved the Starburst Granny Squares and with some new yarn colours I started making a few this week and joining them as I go.  What it will turn into shall yet be determined.

Enjoy the rest of your holidays!!!

Ode To Fall

I added a pom pom using my pom pom maker to this hat.  I think it looks much better.  I sent it off to my aunt with the loom knit hat who is recovering from breast cancer.  I think she's going to need the coverage.  She was super excited to get my package.

So with Halloween coming up there are some great sales on various items, namely this pet costume.  I couldn't resist especially being 60% off. He's super impressed as you can see.

We went back to the same park as last week to compare the changing of colours.
This pic below happened by accident but I thought it looks cool.

Hit some sales at the craft store this week. These lovely brown colours I want to knit a hat for my honey.  Nice masculine colours.

I started another cowl using chunky yarn. Can there be too many projects on the go?

Um no.

Happy weekend all!
