Ups and downs

Well since Easter I've since turned 40. I had a few days off.  I went to visit a friend and her little one.  On the way home I had a stupid incident with the car.

I drove over the edge of a median in a parking lot.  It didn't sound good after that and I noticed the engine mount cracked. I had to get it towed to a garage.  Honey, was needless to say pleased, NOT. I had plans to go to dinner with my cousin and still did that. But, nonetheless it put a damper on my day. 

I've been crocheting ripple cushions in efforts to stash bust. 

And I had since made one more bunny.  The cat seemed to like it.

Happy Easter

I've made 4 of these bunnies this week.  I brought them to work to sell for Easter.  I did sell 3 of them and gave one to my aunt for her birthday.  I'm off this Monday and Tuesday for my birthday.  Turning the big 4-0.  Haven't thought a lot about it or how I feel turning forty.  I don't feel 40, in mind anyway, body is another story. HAHA.

I really hate working with this yarn.

Bunny Love

These wonderful little bunnies are super addictive to make.  Many of you bloggers have seen them around on blogs.  We can thank The Green Dragonfly for the wonderful tutorial on how to make them. They are similar to the Owl pattern from Bunny Mummy's blog. I finished this one in maybe 5 or 6 hours while watching TV.  And below is the second one in the works.

And on a follow up note, my cousin loved the blanket for her wedding shower gift.  As well as the throw away bouquet and I picked up a garter for the wedding, with blue of course.

Ripple WIP

Work in progress Wednesday I am still trucking along on my bed ripple.  Thank god it's only for a single bed.  I'd get discouraged on progress if it was any wider LOL.

And for my African Flowers bag, I am done the bag.  Just have to make handles and the drawstring.

And I made my first Easter item.  From Sucrette's Blog the Easter Bunny Egg.

I didn't have googly eyes the size I needed so I sewed them on.  Anyway, that's all for today.  Happy Hump Day!!
