What to do with projects

It seems over the last year or so my creative juices haven't been flowing as easily as work and home duties take over.  I still visit my Bloglovin and check out my fave bloggers I follow as well as Intstagram and drool over the colourful projects that everyone seems to be making. It almost seems like I have to make a schedule and make an appointment to work on my crochet projects.

I just pulled out some from one of my bins of projects started, half finished, frogged etc.

I unattached all my African Flowers, still needing to find out how to make them into a square or a better way to join them.  Any suggestions or links to how I can do this?

The gum ball squares still in progress.

I seem to get bored easily of one project then move on to another.

We got the kitties a new cat tree yesterday.  Seems just after a new kitty comes to our house we get a new tree.  The last one was 2 years ago.  And they sure get their use of them.

We've been taking our girl outside a bit.  She loves to look around at the birds and bunnies that visit the back yard and sniffs the air.

Happy weekend all!!

Summer Distractions

Hello Lovelies.  Hope everyone is having a nice summer so far.  I know it's hard to stay motivated
making yarny things in the summer, especially when it get to 90 F/30 C plus weather.

I've mostly only managed to make these Canada Day themed coasters.

I managed some knitting and crochet at the beginning of June when I took my first
flying trip with my aunt out to British Columbia, on Vancouver Island.  I found flying very exciting and didn't really knit that much, I was glued to the sites out the window, well when there was more than just clouds.

Here are some pics from my trip.

It's so green out there and the air is so clean.  I slept so good too.

So many trees and the size of some of them are massive. I made these collages
as I have way to many pictures to share.

Pacific coast line, unique trees, lots of rock.

Unique gardens.

Beautiful coastline and vegetation. There is moss on all the trees because they get so much moisture and rain.

Flying on the way back we were on the Disney Frozen painted plane.  After the clouds cleared getting closer to Calgary on the way back I got to see the Rocky Mountains. An amazing site to see.

We stayed with my uncle and aunt and their cuties Westie Momo. Found some quaint
shops in their town, even a yarn store. My aunt there paints and I managed to get one
of hers painting to bring home, well 3 that is to be hung side by side. Blazing Birches
she calls them. Middle picture is the sunrise the morning we landed driving home.
And when my honey picked me up from the train station he surprised me with roses, of course
I shed some tears . This was the first time in 15 years we were apart from each other.

This past week we had our fireworks for the Canada Day/4th of July
Celebrations on our river between the borders.

And to end it with my fur babies.
These 2 have become quite the chums.
