Relaxation

I finished the baby blanket for my cousin's boy who just turned one.

I hope he'll enjoy using it. 

I decided to give my lunch bag a face lift. Covering up the writing on it,

and sport a super cute style. Perfect for the new job.

The week went by fast for being home all week.  With a few good bike rides 

and plenty of lazy relaxation. 

I finished a book I've been reading.  It's actually part of a series that maybe 

some of you crafter's may enjoy.  It's by Terri DuLong.  I finished Secrets On Cedar

Key.  An area in Florida.  Cedar Key Series.

I got some great blooms on my rose bushes this week

FO Friday

I finished the baby boy blue granny blanket.  I love making blankets but hate giving them up. I wish I could

keep all of them.  But the recipient was happy with the outcome.

I tried a tutorial on You Tube for the crocodile stitch from Bob Wilson123.

It will be a pretty shawl.

We're having a yard sale tomorrow.  I'm even parting with some yarn I'll probably never use. But 

we'll see if it even gets sold.  TGIF

Long Weekend Crochet

Happy Victoria Day fellow Canadian's.  It's the holiday weekend here in honour of queen Victoria.  Even she was a crafter.

So, I've been working away on the baby boy granny blanket a co-workers wants to give as a gift.  I'm starting on edging now and should be done for next weekend. 

I have more of my African flower squares made.

They're so addictive to make and can do almost any colour scheme.

And a few more gumballs.

I did use the vivid feature on the camera to make them stand out. 

It's been nice and warm this weekend and I've been crocheting outside under the trees.

Finished Objects

I finished my granny circles blanket last night, just in time for my cousin's shower as it's her wedding present.  Most of the week was spend doing final rounds and edging.  I also have a throw away bouquet for her.  I hope she likes them both. 

It's hard to get good pictures when it's still so cold outside to take ones in 

good light.

My other finished object is my Alpaca wool blend scarf.  

It's 54" in length besides the fringe.  I have it up on my Etsy Shop.

Days go by...

This is a rare day.  The last time we will see the same day, month and year in our lifetime.  At least it's not 13's. LOL

So I found this granny blanket in my parents attic. I vaguely remember using it as a teenage and forgot all about it.  I don't even remember who made it.  Pink and mint green centers (hard to see in the picture) So glad I found it. 

I got a new phone early for Christmas and had to test out the camera. I got a few better shots of my crochet X-mas tree. 

I've also been whipping up a bunch of snowflakes.  Mostly for quick small gifts and some for my tree.

Working on a loom hat for my dad.  Not that he'll be outside much.

And some progress made on my second Lucy bag I am making for another aunt. 

And another gift from my aunt's, order from Amazon. Looks really good, not just flowers etc but also borders and trims.

I've been down with sinus cold since last week.  It's just starting to clear up.  Hate being sick around the holidays.
