I attended a lovely Stitch and Bitch with a few girls from work tonight. Lovely cafe we went to and did get a bit accomplished. I managed the pink round on my giant granny. And yes those are my Hello Kitty slippers in the picture. I'm a big fan.
I've been working on this ruffle scarf that a co-worker loved the colours she said she'd like to buy it. But, I started with more stitches then started taking some away. Well, I might just frog it. It seems most people who make these only use 5 or 6 stitches for a skinnier type scarf.
This pink one my wonderful friend in the states made me. Skinny and long enough to wrap around the neck twice. I think I will do with this style.
These are made for a purpose. Our dining chair sits against the wall and tends to scuff it up that honey had to fix the marks. So I thought I'd crochet something useful for the chair. Had to customize it a bit for the bar.
And with both on.
And finally........ My Attic 24 Neat Ripple finished, nearly.
I just want to get a border on it. Might just try Lucy's she just did on her ripple recently. But it definitely needs it up the sides to hide the joins.
I cuddled up with it the last few nights in bed and it's so cozy warm. My first full size blanket. So proud.

I made a few of this scarves and made with 6 an 8 sts. 8 is definetelly wider, 6 thinner, but 4 is a little too thin...hope it looks just the way you like it.
Love the ripple blanket ... Good job on your first blanket :) great to start the year with such a wonderful accomplishment!
Love love your ripple. When I did one, I only made a couple of rows of htr (I think) ons the sides, in the same colour as the first and last rows (http://www.haak-en-stekie.blogspot.com/2012/02/klaar-die-reenboog-ripple-rainbow.html) - that was the simplest option!
What lovely projects. I love the ripple. I'm about to start a big blanket as an ongoing project, they are so therapeutic to make aren't they?
